In February, I am forced to make a big decision. It is regarding the conflict between domestic economy and my expression of love.
As we all know, February 14th is Valentine’s Day. I, of course, have no hesitation to give a present to my loving wife.
As a matter of fact, her birthday is a week before Valentine’s Day. Generally speaking, ladies’ minds are too complicated for me to understand. I have no idea until what age they are willing to celebrate their birthdays. I, however, do not have to worry about this. My loving wife stopped getting old after the age of 29. We have been celebrating her 29th birthday every year for the last a decade or so. Again, I have no hesitation to give a present to my loving wife.
The problem is the fact that my wife’s birthday and Valentine’s Day are only one week apart. What about putting her birthday and Valentine’s Day together and giving her only one present?
This is indeed a great plan for me who gives her present. I can save some money by doing that. I did not mind as much money as I could before I married her. That was what I call investment. After we got married, however, what I get by giving her some presents is totally different from before we got married. Don’t we want to save some money?
I know she does not like my idea. If I did it, that would mean I will run some risks. To tell the truth, I have already given her the present twice, one for each occasion. Last year, to believe it or not, I forgot Valentine’s Day. I learned in a hard way. You learn more from mistake rather than success.
I think I am so lucky that I have opportunities to express my love to my wife in two consecutive weeks!
